I hope it works out for him, and happy he gets paid either way. Even if it does, there was enough data to justify the Royals moving on. I don't think he sees a lot of playing time in NY unless the turnaround is quick, but maybe he has more upside than their other utility options.

My post seeks to interrogate the nature of fallacy. Hamblin's indictment of the standard approach is a jumping off point for scholarship about informal argumentation, which doesn't operate under the formal norms implied by the term "fallacy." But I agree many fallacies have countersides.
No True Scotsman thinks the standard treatment of fallacy is theoretically coherent.
