Before and after I made the decision to change how the hair looks before submitting the final copy of the commission!
I realised too late that the hair looked really flat so I painted the final version. Sometimes you just gotta zoom out to discover these fixes!

Screenshot of VGen comms! By the way, this is the first time I’ve ever gotten so many commissions in one day. Three is a lot!! I’ve only just picked up art again around end of 2024. Didn’t know how to use procreate but still posted my progress on Cara every time. I fell in love with art again!! Coming from a long art hiatus (I’m talking years of inactivity), to opening and taking on commissions now is a large feat for me! I only post this to celebrate the small wins in my life, like I hit one of the stepping stone goals I have for myself. Getting this far was not easy, and I’m still striving to do better and improve on myself, my art, and my situation. Everyone’s goals and achievements are different! Just want to share this to remind myself that I’ve come so far! 💖
