“Prove me wrong” will never create the America of our hopes and dreams.
“I will listen” might.

COMMENTARY: It takes a great country to admit its mistakes. The Trump administration's new signs at Colorado's National Historic Sites reflect weakness and insecurity.
Pritzker: Time to stop wondering if you can trust the nuclear codes to people who don’t know how to organize a group chat. It’s time to stop ignoring the hypocrisy in wearing a big gold cross while announcing the defunding of children’s cancer research…
Walz: If you say you love freedom but you don't believe freedom is for everybody, then the thing you love is not freedom, it is privilege.
That is exactly true.
Trump posted 14 times about his Daytona 500 trip—but not once about the deadly flooding in multiple states.
For some reason, I keep thinking about how the Emperor Tiberius (the emperor who crucified Jesus) renamed the Sea of Galilee "Lake Tiberias" after himself as part of his brutal repression of the Jews.
Renaming things is a powerful form of colonization and oppression of subject populations.

Kaine: "He let Musk force the resignation of the FAA administrator. He disbanded an aviation safety committee... he's got an OMB director who's pushing a hiring freeze & saying 'I want to traumatize the federal workforce'"... he's got an anti-safety agenda..that's why he went the race-baiting route"

Gavin Newsom made a website to fight the misinformation about the fires. Give it a read.

Wisdom from his many years.
Often good to ignore the nonsense, but it's worth taking a moment to note that Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, blamed "racial equity plans" for this LA catastrophe. He also shared a post saying the Black mayor of LA has low IQ and was not elected but "installed" by Obama. It's not subtle.
A real photo and perfect metaphor heading into 2025.
‘Winter’s Brace’, Fox sits huddled in the snow. Oil Painting
Fox closed her eyes, felt the cold on her face
She smiled at the darkness, lost in winter's brace
Solstice had come, the promise of more light
Nature's cycle was done by end of this night
She wished all souls love with the return of the sun
and #SolsticeBlessings for everyone
Who could have possibly thought that the richest man in the world would buy himself the presidency?
