I am trying to define Czech female metalheads' identity, status, and position, based on their reflection of subjective reality.
I'm looking forward to the work being done in about 2 years (hopefully), but at the same time, I already know I'm really going to miss it. 🙂

It's time to introduce my dissertation project - Women in Black: A Qualitative Probe into the Female Identity of the Metal Subculture in Contemporary Czechia. I started doing this research in 2020 as an independent scholar and it later transformed into my dissertation.
