Been saying for a long time that there's a real base here in the Midwest for a democratic socialist politics that is relentlessly focused on building a better life for working people. Politics should be about helping people, not hating people.

Democracy Commission's package passing was one of the biggest developments at DSA convention. It was an intervention pushing DSA towards pluralism in national decision-making. I predict national leaders will need to compromise and collaborate more with each other to get things done in the future.

When you have a wide range of opinions that you regularly need to engage with, it really does force you to engage respectfully with people you vehemently disagree with. Hard to find a more politically fractious environment than Southeast Wisconsin.
Hopefully this saves a lot of people from a preventable, crippling disease. But maybe the GOP shouldn’t have spent the last hundred years working to “drown government in the bathtub” if they didn’t want to bring all the medieval diseases back - just a thought.

Because, on the record here, the District Court's conclusions on Montana's express privacy protections are sufficient to uphold its preliminary injunction, we affirm on that basis. The parties will have the opportunity during the merits proceeding for full development of the record, where their experts may offer insight on any new research, and for briefing on the current case law relative to their claims. CONCLUSION 157 The District Court made no error of law and did not manifestly abuse its discretion. We affirm its grant of a preliminary injunction on the basis of Plaintiffs' right to privacy claim. Incredible news! Montana’s Supreme Court just affirmed that the state’s gender affirming care ban is likely unconstitutional.
This makes the state the first state Supreme Court to rule that trans medical care is protected.
This applies REGARDLESS of what the US Supreme Court does.
