Hey
I liked the Leon sections in between the Grace sections. It felt like catharsis for being so tense all the time, but the racoon city part was not as well paced.
I enjoyed RE 9, the gameplay was great and I thought Grace's sections were genuinely tense.
But I feel like the latter part of the game just was too bogged down in nostalgia.
I also have other complaints but I don't wanna spoil anything.
Got a bit wet
Good Morning
I need to watch it, but I hate hearing Belfast accents π€£ π€£ I get enough of it living here
But Godzilla π€£
Rik did find a nice place near Akihabara.
We are still looking at hotels.
We wanna stay at the Gracery but it's expensive π€£
Excuse you Australia why does your heroes have proper Crunchies it's not fair.
Got it all set up now βΊοΈ
They're watching Rik play
This was certainly a movie π€£
Honestly with a few friends it'll be a good time.
We have our flights booked :3 we are heading in November βΊοΈ
They arrived βΊοΈ
Anyone else looking a delivery ππ
I've been filling up Riks inbox with reels of Japan for things to do π€£π€£
I'm sorry @rikplaysstuff.bsky.social π€£
There's quite alot
It looks good.
I'm sure I'll get scared lol
We have Silent Hill f to play too.
But we have Trails Beyond the Horizon to finish π€£
The first movie is at least decent, Return to Silent Hill was just woeful.
Even if there was one bit that had me and Rik laughing loudly while most of the cinema was silent π€£
I know It looks bad.
But
I do know most of the plot twists cause I've been on the Internet long enough that it's hard not to have been spoiled for it.
But I will play it, it's just not on the top of my gaming pile π€£π€£
And I thought the movie would be funny bad.
It was mostly bad bad
I want to make a formal apology to Silent Hill 2, I haven't played you yet, but Return to Silent Hill shouldn't have been my first experience of that story.
Finished Crisis On Infinite Earths finally.
I don't think I'll try reading all the tie ins again for other crossovers, unless they're actually decent π€£. Like I enjoyed Swamp Thing but some others were shit
I was surprised how sad I was by the death of Supergirl, but the event ends so bittersweet.
A couple other things:
Biggest piece of shit I watched: The Fortnite Kill Bill thing, omg I hated it so much.
Biggest Disappointment: Megan 2.0, the Terminator to Terminator 2 pipeline done very wrong.
Most anticipated movie for 2026: Supergirl (To no ones surprise)
1. Superman:
If you know me it shouldn't be a surprise, it was close but, I've been waiting almost 2 decades for a good live action Superman movie.
And it delivered, the heart of the man of steel is in this film, it's so hopeful and charming, but also naive at times exactly how Superman should be.
2. Black Bag:
Oceans meets Spy Thriller, which it makes sense it's the same director. It's tense but funny, and it had Soderburgh's style of cinematography.
3. Thunderbolts:
The first Marvel film in a while that feels like it has its own personality. More heartfelt and personal for the characters.
