So there is a company that does restaurant tours in major cities. My friend bought me one in York which we’ve done today. Sunday afternoons 12-5, one course plus wine in each of six restaurants. One low point but five hits; four of them fabulous. Recommended. (Not an Ad).

I made up the coordinates of A and B and Y10 had to try and fill the rest.
Two congruent triangles, arranged on a straight line so that the angle between their hypotenuses is a right angle.
I used another “blank is best” in #MathsToday.
We first chose a few angles to show the two red lines are always perpendicular.
Then we chose a few lengths to show the gradient of one red line is always the negative reciprocal of the other.
My mission to see all Oscar nominated films for:

Lots of ignorance about the disease today but also seems like these actors weren’t even given the decency of a check-in. Slurs, even unintentional, have consequences & inflict harm and upset.

My soul has been broken by this tale. A beautifully written exploration of old age, loss of dignity and facing the inevitable. I totally fell in love with Bo and Sixten and sobbed…a lot.

An engaging & engrossing read. Told from multiple “witness” viewpoints we try to uncover the truth about a tragic event. I found the whole thing moving in its exploration of xenophobia & Islamophobia. You won’t get a neat answer but that is kinda the point. Almost a 5
Book 10: The Trees ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️ ⚰️
I thought I loved James then I read this. Wow. Brilliant. Crime procedural, murder, history, social commentary, comedy; this book does it all. Thoroughly enjoyed.
