CTN+ BC–Yukon Regional Team Co-lead Dr. Troy Grennan is vice-chair of an advisory body that recently provided reccomendations to the Public Health Agency of Canada on the use of prophylactic doxycycline for the prevention of bacterial STTBIs, such as syphilis.

A team including Dr. Souradet Shaw, an Advancing Health scientist and professor at the University of Manitoba, found that female sex workers in Kenya had widely varying rates of #HIV infection, depending on which area of Nairobi they worked in.
