#5debutalbums8589 N.W.A - Straight Outta Compton (1988) Seminal gangsta rap album. Its nihilistic and feral approach is genuinely frightening even decades on. This is a window into a world that most of us never experience. To be clear, Compton is not the delightful village in West Sussex #NowPlaying

They've already made their minds up. Just waiting for their chance to pounce.

He wasn't having the Alisson one but I think you're right. He's not as consistant with his feet as he once was

I think we can still catch them. I wouldnt be doing them any favours. A fit firing Harvey could win them decisive points.

Would still take them over the cheats. The damage done by City to this league and the continued spending whilst we all wait years for a verdict far outweighs Arteta, as dislikable that he and his style are

Mo Farah: a case study of asking difficult questions to a lauded sportsperson you admire What happens when a sporting superstar who has become a cherished national figure faces issues that need scrutiny? Tact, lawyers and PRs tend to collide in the fallout

A piece about the complicated and controversial life and times of Mo Farah, who I first met when he was 16, and the challenges of reporting on that, fairly and accurately, in the face of PRs and lawyers

Great interview. Happy to see him doing well.
Also great to hear him speak about Jota and the clear effect on the teams performances. Too many fans and pundits have forgotten all about it.

Yeah agreed. Macca having a poor season which is why Slot has given more starts to Jones. Long term I think Macca will leave and it'll be Grav, Szobo + signing (Wharton maybe) and then Jones if he wants to stay.
He's brilliant and deserves to start but tough competition

I didn't see anything off in Slot's comments. Jones an important squad player who has played alot of games this season. Would play more of we weren't so strong in midfield.
I'm sure Liverpool want to keep him but he himself might want guaranteed starts which is hard with Szobo and Macca there

I want to laugh at it but sadly it’s true.

That's great to hear. There were some audible boos but TV probably exagerated for extra controversy.

Brentford at home. Final whistle. Him and the team I guess

Fair play again. Wins the league, preseason plans destroyed both mentally & physically after Jota tragedy & yet gets booed & calls for his job. I expect that from those on the cesspit but the fans in the stadium shocked me. I've always taking my lead from the knowledgeable Anfield crowd Now..no idea

www.youtube.com/watch?v=a31P... from November 2025. The words from the sports psychologist on this podcast are even more striking to me now that we are through January and the results that have occurred (he spoke about expecting that the grief of the players would hit its peak around mid January).

Regardless of what happens some Liverpool players will be criticised at some point, but none of them have been charged for coercive behaviour towards women.

Fuck Marseille for playing him.

Enjoyed that. More or less where I stand. Although there are issues, 1st and 4th is above par for Slot.
Regardless of who the mgr is, a centre back in Jan is vital. Aside from the injury high wire act, things could get messy when Ibou signs a pre-contract with his next team..

A quality midfielder light but looking strong at keeper, defence and strikers. Bodes well

Yeah many others said they'd give the team as much leeway as they needed. Sadly they have forgotten about that now.
I do fear it will get worse if we don't sign a centreback this month. Konate's form could fall apart once he pre signs with someone else.
It won't be Slot's fault but he'll be blames

18.01.2026 08:02 πŸ‘ 3 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

You're spot on. Konate headloss again. And what can Slot do about that? Nothing because he has no other centre halves that can replace him.
We have to sign a centre half in January.
Once Konate signs his pre contract with his new club, his form could unravel quickly

Have we really become a club that want to sack a mgr sitting 4th after winning the lge the season before & having to deal with an unimaginable tragedy?
I see more people wanting Slot sacked than keep and I dont use Twitter!
All very depressing.

We were tracking towards 90 points all season then eased off after it was won. Elite performance from team and coach last season.
This not so much unfortunately

"it was difficult to see what evidence there was of the week's work behind the scenes at the AXA Training Centre"

Not sure what game you were watching if you couldn't see the amount of chances created.

As for shoehorning in a Hodgson comparison by removing wins. That's just petty.
