Having lost the first 17 games - I finally won. Never playing again.

Like when my wife beats me at scrabble but I say I didn’t want to play anyway. Strategic.

Bumped into an ex student in Costa. Cost me a hot chocolate (with Marsh Mallows). School wasn’t always the smoothest for him but so good to catch up. He was running his own recruitment business remotely from Costa and has played American Football for GB since I last saw him 👏👏👏👏👏.

Half term starts tomorrow and I am between roles - new headship starts after half term.

It’s bizarre - I literally have nothing to do.

I hate myself for this but I think never hearing it before explains the spelling error? Am I wrong - apologies - I have turned into my wife (English teacher). She can’t see a misplaced apostrophe without correcting it.

You hear so many stories about the challenges of recruiting great staff. We took on a phenomenal English ECT today. Just fabulous.
