These are two unrelated companies! Different and unrelated founders by the same name. The newspaper company’s founder was Axel Caesar Springer (1912 - 1985), the very reputable science publishing company’s founder was Julius Springer (1817 - 1877). Both unrelated.

I think the British public and media journalism sphere has not quite understood yet what a take-over of The Daily Telegraph by Axel-Springer will mean. Springer is no longer just a ‘centrist’ or ‘conservative’ publisher.
No future energy system should ever again have bottlenecks - geographic or technological - as narrow as the Strait of Hormuz.
