My alma mater, TCNJ, won conference championships in both menβs and womenβs basketball this weekend. This must be what it feels like to go to UConn and watch your teams kick ass every year.
Forgot how good #yankees prospect Hans Montero was for Tampa in August last year. Hit .500/.615/.867 (15-for-30) with 8 R, 4 2B, 2 3B, 1 HR, 12 RBI, 8 BB, 10 K and 8-9 SB in 12 games. Just turned 22 in December and has played every position except CF and C.
Tonight's choice of entertainment is doing basketball prep for the weekend and listening to the Beach Boys (judge all you want, they are the best) in the background. It's a great choice.
Plantiermogging the ABS
I will say I didnβt use tomato paste used crushed instead and cooked it down a little before cooking the pasta. Was still very good and creamy but didnβt exactly do a faithful recreation
Anyway, the moral of the story is to broaden your culinary horizons because you could be missing out on a super easy, delicious meal.
My Instagram algorithm has become a lot of traditional Italian recipes lately and I decided to make one tonight. A pasta and chick pea stew that I never would have made otherwise. My god was that good. Unbelievable.
It was a trudge. Very informative, but read like a college textbook
If youβre up for something that is very dense and academic, yes. It is not at all a quick read though, but thorough. Felt like you got a good snapshot of the time period and how important he was in it.
Statesman for the Union by Robert Remini. Heβs way more of an Andrew Jackson scholar but this was so interesting.
Of course that book was a dense 850-page biography of Henry Clay
Just finished reading my fourth book of the year, putting me way ahead of last yearβs pace where I finished my first book on March 24. Maybe this is finally the year I hit my reading goal.
Yankees 2025 8th round pick RHP Mac Heuer is also a champion in raising livestock, winning the 2022 Georgia Junior National Livestock Show's "Breeding Ewe" category:
Even with that I can't imagine the MLBPA agreeing to a cap.
Ironically, he leads the team in assists

And by "rock at a rooster" I mean, I will throw the ball out of the strike zone.
Like it just feels like we are missing the mark on so many fascinating life stories in the films that get made: Cass Elliot, Dennis Wilson, Huddie Ledbetter just among musicians, for instance. Glad to see one of them finally getting made.
A biopic worthy of making.
Probably either Spero Dedes or Stacey Dash
You're telling me Fartcoin wasn't a good investment?
I'm old enough to remember when MiLB ballparks had to be a certain radius away from MLB ballparks. π€£
you don't say? at some point we're going to acknowledge what every study ever on this subject has said, right? right? www.independent.co.uk/news/science...
This was a favorite headline of mine to write: www.milb.com/hudson-valle...
Can't believe Lindell TV didn't get the rights to this.
Who was MLB's first Black player? Not Jackie Robinson in 1947, not Moses Fleetwood Walker and his brother Weldy in 1884 β¦ but William Edward White, in 1879. He passed for white for much of his life but, uniquely among MLB players, he was born a slave. ourgame.mlblogs.com/pioneers-wil...
Could be my crowing achievement as a PR director.
