The devastation is truly jaw-dropping; I can't imagine the trauma for the people who had to flee for their lives. Many have lost everything, and they will be considered the lucky ones.
Held in 1972 with The Queen Mother attending, the Royal Variety Performance boasted some pretty big international stars; Liberace, singer Jack Jones, Elton John and The Jackson 5. This is a fab performance from the brothers. Well worth a watch.
