It required reaming the hole about 1mm to get it through.

Yes, if I remember correctly, s video is ready to tap right off the board.
Also, there is an early Revision B or the main board that uses through hole caps.

I'm glad someone else made one, and will have something for the community. @partlyhuman.com put one together a few years ago, and I never got around to finalizing mine. Here are a few pics of what I had going. There was more planned as well, but I was infected with Japanese PC disease.
Some genuinely amazing visuals and atmosphere in parts, but a disjointed empty mess. My wife and I complained the whole way home.
I'm glad I didn't have to pay this much for either of mine.
I'll have to look at my expansion card to see if it's one of the ones you have.
I just verified a slightly updated version of my FM2AND6 controller. A slight cost savings will help offset tariffs, and I've added an LED to show when it's in 6 button mode.
That's a newer version of my FM Towns 2/6 button controller that I'm testing.
The RX-78 uses a matrix for the joystick rather than 1 or 2 commons or grounds. I do have a design for it, but I haven't ordered boards. It would only be 4 way instead of 8 though.
I also have a joystick in the works
You have to
Some test boards are shipping out to me, so I'll be able to test the Zerosen dumps.
I have the dual chip version of Excite Baseball, and there's a single chip version for sale. I'd love to compare the rom dumps to see if it's possible to combine the 2 into 1, but I can't drop another $100 right now. I'll pick it up when I have some extra money
I forgot Zerosen was a dual chip game. I have a repro of that pcb designed, but I haven't ordered them yet.
I want to get the Inufuto games to work on hardware too. They don't conform to the standard size, so I tried padding them out with FF, but that didn't work. I'll experiment more later. eRX-78 boots them just fine.
I'm using a T-48 to dump, and I want to say I used the Cypress 27c64/128/256 profiles to get working dumps, but I'd have to look at my notes at home.
I'll have to check. Things are definitely off between hardware and emulator. 16 and 32k games I have to swap around to get eRX-78 to boot them. For instance, Challenge Golf is a 16k game, and I have to swap the last 8k to the beginning. Likewise, your Gundam dump I have to swap to work on hardware
I've finished verifying 8/16/32kb games work on my reproduction cart for the Bandai RX-78.
I need to finish working on the CMT portion for Basic use, as well as look at games with dual 8/16kb chips.
I'm working on a joystick expansion card for Hitachi's Basic Master Level 3.
I should probably see if the machine actually works π€
I also received a Hitachi Basic Master Level 3 yesterday. It is loaded with expansion cards. 2 cards are for an external FDD unit, 1 for joysticks, and 1 expanded ram.
I recreated the joystick card, and will make one with DE9 connectors that are compatible with MSX style pads.
I got my e-waste PC-6601SR in yesterday. NEC was forward thinking and put the battery on the little led board in the front panel. Easy to get to for replacement, and away from important things if it leaks.
Speaking of, absolutely no leakage or corrosion on this one. Astounding
Japan's version of Traces of Death?
String cheese!
You remember the commercials back in the day with a kid ordering a pizza, but no sauce and no crust?
I was looking up places to visit in Iceland for a future trip, and came across this picture someone took in a shop.

He's super nice and helpful, too.
It's a pun. There are 2 releases and they're basically recipe books.
The Syclone/Typhoon were awesome. There was a poor white Typhoon that rotted away a mile away from me. It just sat under a tree in someone's yard for about 5 years.
She looks adorable with those little flower clips or whatever they are.
That's always a nice surprise!
Why don't you hand deliver them the day of order? What terrible service.
I don't care if it's erection molded or not π€¬π
I wish I owned a front loader just so I could buy Mr. Entitlement's hunk of plastic.
