This kind of brainrot is what is killing us all. A candidates sole job is to motivate people to come out to vote for them. It is their entire fucking job.
If you'd run someone you know will lose, then you are part of the problem because you don't actually have values, you just want someone to blame.
For Democrats the choice between "promise more and get more votes" and "promise less and get less votes" is easy. They will choose the latter and then tell the left they don't want to achieve power.
a month of fairly casual learning, it wasn't better at writing code than I was. Granted, I have years of experience in other languages, but I was still able to surpass it in a new language AND engine in a very short time. It is great for looking up information in the documentation though.
The only people who are impressed by LLM coding abilities are people who can't code. The best case they got for a freshman level course was a B+, lower than the median for that course.

Exactly, Clinton was upset that Obama usurped her in 2008. She worked with the DNC to prevent that happening again. In 2020, Obama worked behind the scenes to engineer the conditions for Biden to win the nomination. Biden then engineered Kamala becoming the candidate. Last real primary: 2008.
Mamdani did this flawlessly. He is executing on that right now. Is he perfect? No, obviously not, but he is doing the work and solving problems that face normal people.
We need more folks like him in office.
So many have gotten this mixed up, and it is destroying our country. Either the candidate has a plan for helping Americans, or not. I don't want to see ego ads, I want to hear their plan for fixing our economy, hardening our democracy, and making life better for all of us.
There is a very real sense among some Democrats that they are 'owed' a given position, because they put in their dues, because they have x, y, z qualifications. Even some voters seem to buy into this.
They are supposed to serve us, this isn't about them, that is why we call them public servants.
