He keeps saying that name like Lucifer's supposed to know who that is. Maybe he should have thought to ask the first time, but even then, Lucifer's not sure whether he'd already explained and he'd just missed it, or if it's just a name he should know. The way Ozzie expected him to know who Fizzarolli was. Now he's just too embarrassed to ask. "What kind of deal did you have to make with the Radio Demon for him to fight Adam?" Lucifer chokes. It sends whiskey into his sinuses, and while he's struggling to remember how to breathe, Fizzarolli just keeps talking. "Don't get me wrong, that fight was hot as fuck. I mean those tentacles?" Fizzarolli makes a low sound at the back of his throat. "But from what I've heard—" Fizzarolli starts going on about old stories—tales of the Big Bad Radio Demon, never picking a fight he can't win—and Lucifer's brain kind of glosses over. He's trying really hard to focus. It's weird that an imp living in Lust, of all beings, has more information than he does about the Sinner who's become his daughter's right-hand. It would be much easier to focus if it weren't for the memory of those tentacles grabbing him around the waist and throwing him across the bed. They were more corporeal than he expected. What, with the sentient shadow and all, he'd expected them to be, well, shadows. He can't help but wonder if Alastor's actual shadow is just as solid.
Finally an update to Talk So Pretty :) it took too long. But I'm back.
Ch 11 - the one where Luci gets drunk with Ozzie and Fizz and talks about how much he is definitely not fucking Alastor :)
