One time I was waiting in the exam room so long I fell asleep. Doctor came in and remarked that it must be nice to be able to take a nap during the day.

I really don't miss it

I left because I got pregnant without being married, and I was told I had to apologize to the entire congregation for sinning, or else leave the church. So I left 🤷‍♀️

I was raised in an evangelical Baptist church. When the church doors were open, we were there. Every fun thing - movies, dancing, popular TV shows, magazines, books - was sinful. I hated it long before I left.
