Wind is really mixing it up in the NGG on this dark half evening. No candles tonight

Been very dry in the NGG. Now to become very windy. Reminding me of 2021.

Dec.13, 2025- The temperature was a warm one then a back door cold front came in temps went from 64° to 48° in a short time. Still rather warm in the NGG

Dec. 7-Dec. 11, 2025 has proven to be rather warm and windy, all the snow has been eaten up and is drying out quickly

We are no longer losing daylight in the NGG in the evenings. It has leveled off at this point.
December 6, 2025- snow covered for the last three days, but looks to be melting off soon.

Yule like the solstice in the NGG.
December 4,2025 with a full moon

December 3, 2025- 7" of snow fell in the NGG. Storing up some moisture, I hope for the coming light half. We shall see

Today begins the earliest sunset of the dark half in the NGG.
December 2, 2025 sunset 4:35p until December 13 where it begins to set later, but continuing losing a little sunlight until Yule, so another 7 days, in the mornings.

Welcome to DECEMBER! Today is the first day of meteorological winter. Currently 18° in the NGG and we got screwed out of snow. Turned out to be a very dry and warm autumn.

November 30, 2025- 14° early and a little more snow on the way. We are definitely in the pit.

November 29, 2025- 19° and it finally snowed in the NGG. Only a trace fell.

Finally a fall like day in the NGG and the wind finally brought down the rest of the leaves on the maple tree.
November 17, 2025- 54° and windy. The garden is covered in leaves.

November 16, 2025- 71° in the NGG
(Possibly the last 70+ day this year)
Just weather, but it will add to the overall global temps for 2025

November 14, 2025- 77° in the NGG
November 15, 2025-73° in the NGG

We have exactly 10hrs of daylight. We will not have exactly 10 hrs again until January 26th.

Nice weather really makes it difficult to watch football

So far, these are the ornaments I have created. 4 of these have been spoken for. But this is one of the things I will be doing during the dark half.

I know that I seem to want to do fall cleaning more than spring cleaning, although I do both. But we are trapped inside more so during the dark half and really don't want to look at dust and clutter. It seems to take longer too.

A skill I wish I learned

1st week of this dark half is in the books. Created 7 ornaments and have had pleasant weather to clean up the yard with.
