If you ever want to read a paper for free and can't find it otherwise, email the lead author and politely ask for a copy. You will not be bothering the person. You will in fact make their whole entire day. I have had scientists get so excited I asked they sent me everything they ever published.

While part of me wants to race into my reading pile and get a head start on challenges, another part wants to just take a break and work through my gaming pile (like Winter Burrow, Never Alone, Where Winds Meet, Okami, Threefold Recital, Chants of Sennaar...) that I still haven't started either.

December 2025 Storygraph Wrap-up. Ended year with a danmei one day shy. Boyfriends is my new "wish I lived in their world" read, Fox & Little Tanuki new fanboy obsession (esp Tachibana & Mikumo the dog-wolf pair).

It is Storygraph October Wrap-up Day. Better than September at least, getting time management skills back.

You can always tell when a danmei novel release has been delayed or pushed back when you go on social media and no one has posted pics of their shiny new copies or ahhhh so excited posts.

My only excuse is adjusting to going back to class and flailing alot. But Copper Coins was great!

We know Copper Coins just came out when the feeds are suddenly flooded with art for it 🤣. I'm actually curious if it has any other similarities to NanChan given the monk & dragon characters.

August Storygraph Wrap-Up Day!

I kinda want to start reading Coins of Destiny while playing the Immortal Life game. They feel like they would go together. But another part actually wants to read NanChan. And why on Earth did Rosmei not translate the title of NanChan unlike every other danmei book they translated to English?

Curious to hear what kind of cozy places you like to read danmei in!

Going back to school feels like Autumn. So much so that I'm breaking out the pumpkin spice scones and Black Leaf's Chaider tea (which apple bits in it and reminds me so much of mulled apple cider) to wind down with today.

Finally the weekend starts, mad hell week part 1 is over. Three day weekend to get ready for part 2 and the start of class. Hoping to also clear the currently reading queue (4 books go!).

So. Exhausted. Pre-start-of-semester work hits hard.

One week to go until class starts! Hoping I haven't forgotten everything I need for it.
