Last year I spent Christmas Eve in San Fran because my flight to Seattle was re-routed due to freezing rain. The airline had no way to get us to Seattle until days after Christmas. So we had a great day in SF, if not a little sad. Flew home to Chicago instead. No refund from the airline. Assholes.
