In a list of the top 17 states (and DC) with the most violent crime you have 7 Democrat governors, 1 Democrat mayor, and 10 Republican governors. It's almost like violent crime doesn't care who the governor is.
For my trans people in Missouri: Two bills were filed in the state senate. One is to make it illegal for anyone to change the sex on their birth certificate for any reason other than being intersex. The other is to redefine "reproductive healthcare" to exclude all gender affirming care.
Trump keeps saying that Canadians would love to be the 51st state, but even our most conservative province (Alberta) doesn't like him all that much. Plus, we are pretty damn proud of the fact that we aren't Americans.
They wouldn't give us electoral votes or voting representation in Congress. We would be like Puerto Rico.
