Williamsburg and East Village shops are the best in NY (there are multiple shops in both areas). In SF I’d go to Amoeba (esp. the Berkeley branch).
Unfortunately our favourite vegan restaurant in NYC closed down last month. 😞

When Strangeways came out, I worked in a record shop that didn’t care to use all the promo material so I got it all and put it straight up on the wall in my bedroom. Long gone now 😞

So glad you got her debut, Phil. I saw her a couple of years after it came out in a room in New Jersey smaller than most people’s living rooms, no stage, with us sitting cross-legged on rugs, a couple of yards away from her. One of my favourite performances ever.
