Ho, how come? Are you specialized in warfare material? But people must cook, clean and repair during war even more than during peace, so everytime you produce 1 gun there's need for at least 2 pans and 2 brooms. And 2 shovels to bury the dead.

I haven't done shading in my sketches for more than 25 years. Always felt like it could put the lines at risk of becoming unreadable. It is strange how we creatively change over time.

Could you sculpt this kind of accessories too?
I mean: peaceful ones. Some of them could even be friendly.

And you'll have to find another word to qualify the act of producing something that is original, unseen, special, revolutionary, etc. - "creativity" doesn't mean that.

- they don't even *want* to invent something new - then you must admit that the images generated by thousands of "AI artists" through the world are creativity too, even if 99% of them concentrate on a few themes and repeat each other.

Then if you admit that the scribbles of a child, that look just like any scribbles of any child, are creativity; if you say that the billions of landscapes, portraits and flower bouquets painted by amateurs are creativity, even if they are all similar and don't invent anything new -

Questionning if this is creativity is a variant of the debate that the surrealists opened more than a century ago.
Any artist will tell you that accepting flukes is part of his job, and many of them seek flukes and rely on them - so ok, let's call "creativity" the funny things that the AI brings.

Then there are the situations where AI is used for its failures. At the beginning, AI generated strangely distorted images or inconsistent texts, and ppl decided that it is a kind of surrealistic art.

In some cases, leaving most of the work to the AI will allow the human to bring in an original idea, thus do an undeniable act of creativity.

I find it a bit void to debate if this kind of creativity is in the AI or in the human who uses the AI. This decision is highly conventional, it depends a lot if you *like* to call the AI creative or not.

A variant of this is to use AI to create images or videos in a conventional style, e.g. for advertising. The ppl who created those documents before AI insist on being called "creatives", so OK, let's call it "creativity", with or without IA.

Another use of AI is to generate texts that formulate a few ideas in a lengthy, conventional style: "write my school essay for me", "write a letter to an administration for me", etc..
This can't be called creativity.
