My studio is :

I would grab some clay and form little heads as we hiked. Sometimes I’d leave them for others to find on top of a mushroom.

I found it on the banks of a swampy little pond. We would find lions mane mushrooms there too.

I find this white clay deposit along a hiking trail near my old neighborhood during the pandemic.

After making art for 100 years I was today years old when I learned to that Height goes before Width.

I ground down the wild clay and used it as an additive to the paint in the lower section.

It’s made with acrylic and kaolin (wild harvested white clay) on shaped hardboard on panel and is exactly 17.125 in x 12in.
