We are grateful to Cuan and all campaign partners and stakeholders alike for the work that has gone in to this important campaign.
As a member of Cuan’s Campaign Advisory Committee, we are delighted that the male experience of domestic violence is featured in one of the campaign’s radio adverts. Given that at least 1 in 7 men across Ireland experience DV, inclusion of their experience is imperative.
We were delighted to attend the launch of Cuan’s Hardest Stories campaign in the IFI earlier today.
Powerful stories were shared, and we heard from the Minister for Justice, Jim O’Callaghan, who gave his commitment to tackling domestic, sexual and gender-based violence.

1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men suffer DV, with male reporting levels to An Garda Síochána as low as 5%.
