For me, it’s both US troops and Iranian civilians. I’ve met several Iranians in my life, and we got along quite well. I might hate the US government, but I don’t want their lives risked in a war that’s doomed to failure. I’ve watched too much of that in my lifetime, and I’m not even middle aged.
