Thank you :) Basically you etch the image into a metal plate and then use that plate for printing. Everything that's etched gets printed, opposite to woodcut for example, where everything carved won't be printed

I finished printing the edition of 60 recently, and the plate is now officially retired and I'll never print it again. Feels weird somehow. Only 11 prints left in my store! inkenstabell.com

I used compressed charcoal, pastels, chalk and coloured pencils over a simple one-time print on Canson Mi-Teintes paper. Next to try is gouache. Mixed media has always been very freeing and satisfying to me, feels great to go back to it! Here's a pic of the zinc plate and the print

Still busy adding lines. This small portion took 5h and I'm NOT a slow drawer lol. It‘s also the 4th layer of lines now, I think. Lines just do take ages, surprises me every single time again. Tbf I didn't expect to cover the whole plate with lines… Looks better though
