These games changed how I view and live life. So much of my ride or die friend circle is a direct result of folks finding each other in trying times and discussing their love of Dragon Age and Mass Effect.

Video game characters are not actually real. They don’t bleed, they can’t get their feelings hurt, they can’t be betrayed because they are a collection of pixels and code and words and sound files.
