With the departure of the homegrowns, it certainly seems like the Rapids must win NOW. Before, they could struggle but fall back on the fact that they were developing local talent into MLS players. If they continue to struggle & don't have local players to attract fan interest... yikes. #rapids96
The rollercoaster of emotions when following one of the most dysfunctional and least successful MLS clubs and one of the most ambitious and successful USL League 1 clubs is just wild.
I support the Rapids and Union Omaha so I always think it's cool when there's crossover with players like Blake Malone, Luis Gil and Conor Doyle. I'll be keeping an eye on the Rowdies this year too because they have Omaha's former coach and a bunch of former players.
