π³οΈ Iβve cast my votes for @greenparty.org.uk Deputy Leader/s:
Based on the candidatesβ public performances during the election - hustings, interviews, posts
1. @anist.bsky.social
2. @greenantoinette.bsky.social
Ani and Antoinette are standouts
Principled
Persuasive
Ready to lead

β Abuse against women and people of other marginalised gender in politics is escalating - political parties must take this seriously
Sadly, the current @greenparty.org.uk leadership election is proving no exception to this and weβre already seeing signs of harmful behaviour
1.
White saviourism is not the way.
To have a hope of tackling it VOTE for ANTOINETTE to be Deputy Leader of @greenparty.org.uk ππ€πΎβ‘οΈ
So excited ππ
My favourite quote of the night. (Probably misquoted watch the recording i guess)
I didnt agree that MPs should be the leaders of this party until I became one and it affected me π€¦πΎββοΈ
Really powerful session this morning. Fantastic report on Vision Zero. Working towards a future of 0 Road deaths in London.
For a long while people (Including myself) have been questioning why I still campaign so hard for the Greens
This below is why.
Really looking forward to real change in the party and society
I hope this video helps to finally bring the issue of the medieval treatment of Black women at the most vulnerable time in their lives into the spotlight.
Black women have the highest cases of UK death in childbirth, & the outright racism detailed here is utterly vile.

We have re-introduced #EllasLaw to Parliament.
This Bill is about the right to breathe clean air, and the right to grow up and grow old without potentially lethal harm being done to our lungs, hearts and brains by preventable air pollution.
It is also about a little girl. This is Ella's story π
The first four pledges are in, make sure to keep checking @feministgreens.bsky.social website to see which candidates are engaging with feminist members in the party.
Make sure to also encourage any candidates you know to get in touch for the link .

A link has been shared with the ERO and a staff member. We as a committee do not have the capacity to research and reach out individually. GPEX members are elected to support us and help us.
Friendly reminder that the committee is made up of people with disabilities, caring responsibilities and other complex life issues.
I will be supporting a candidate who makes the extra effort to reach out to liberation groups. Not a candidate that tries to publicly shame them.
@zackpolanski.bsky.social @adrianramsay.bsky.social @elliechowns.bsky.social
Looking forward to your responses
Please encourage candidates to let us know where they stand on these major feminist issues.
Itβs absolutely outrageous that @ameliagentleman.bsky.social has written this article and hasnβt included a single word from sex worker-led organisations or outreach charities that work with sex workers who oppose these proposals. Where is the balance? Where are the voices of actual sex workers?
If i wanted leadership that only cared about power, id be in labour following starmer
Our philosophical basis says otherwise.
"Power is simply our ability to be effective, but it takes different forms. βPower overβ is dysfunctional, succeeds only at the expense of others and should be limited and contained."

There used to be three beautiful trees in this spot. The Council has granted permission for them to be cut down and tiny homes (not social) to be built instead.
This isn't helping fix croydons housing crisus but is helping to make our dirty air crisis even worse π‘
STATEMENT ON RECENT ISLAMOPHOBIC ATTACKS ON THE SOUTH LONDON MUSLIM COMMUNITY The Green Party stands in solidarity with the Muslim community, after the recent defacement of two mosques in South London. Fuelled by dangerous propaganda and acts of incitement by Elon Musk and UK far right figures, such hate filled vandalism has no place on our streets. Prejudicial fake news retweets have predictably inspired Anti-Muslim graffiti. Foreign billionaires care little for the person who did the graffiti, or the community that they came from. But they do understand how profitable creating chaos in other countries can be. The rise of social media and its algorithms, completely shorn of checks and verifications, is super charging the radicalisation process and is a fundamental risk to our democracy which relies on judgement of informed voters. These events have been building over time as politicians such as Nigel Farage, Robert Jenrick and Suella Braverman have deliberately and repeatedly targeted the Muslim community by using hateful rhetoric which resulted in a series of far-right riots across the UK in July and August of 2024. As Londoners we will always reject this division. We are proud of how Londoners stood in solidarity against the far-right riots in the summer. Our diversity is our strength and we will always stand TOGETHER AS ONE. #neverforget #antifacism #peace #solidarity #allyship #0NELondon #muslimcommunity Written by Muslim Greens London Green Party Signed by Caroline Russell (Assembly Member, London) Zack Polanski (Assembly Member, London) ZoΓ© Garbett (Assembly Member, London) Ria Patel (Councillor, Croydon) Croydon Green Party Scott Ainslie (Councillor, Lambeth) Lambeth Green Party

If you care about stamping down on the rise of the far right (e.g. Yaxley-Lennon, Musk) and supporting solidarity with Muslims targetted in their hateful misinformation, you may want to read and share this

Green councillors all over the country are pushing for their council to divest from Fosil fuels and Arms sales.
It's a long fight here in croydon to get the council to put morals and ethics above profit but we will continue to speak up until they do

Jesus's was the biggest anarchist who believed in direct action. He actively seeked out sinners and those marginalised by society.
When Jesus's returns he will proudly be claimed as a lefty snowflake
