We read the 10 Commandments in the parsha last week that reminded us to consider "the stranger" when we keep Shabbos & we say it in kiddish!
So, yes we should daven, have nice meals, sing, read, rest, but to keep Shabbos we MUST think morally about those who are the most vulnerable in our society!

He had a job interview yesterday and thankfully our humanitarian bus showed up just in time to offer some fresh clothes so he could look polished & have his best shot at getting off the streets and into a job & housing.

A shout out to St. Mary’s Food Bank (and this good man Oswaldo, who drives the truck) for regularly bringing us pallets of food that our humanitarian buses can take out to the streets to serve those who are so hungry. We appreciate your partnership so much!
Today I stood with a group of good people showing up for immigrants, because our history teaches us what happens when people are dehumanized and borders are used as weapons. We rallied to say that safety, dignity, and belonging are human rights—not privileges.
