The homepage on the Cineworld app has different rows of posters under the headings 'Now Playing' and 'Coming Soon', the former of which includes several films which aren't actually out yet.

PLEASE I feel like I'm going insane every time I complain about an app and people call me a boomer (I am 33).

Any chance I can get a name and address on the absolute piece that wrote this?

The email:

"[Reform] thrives by turning neighbours against each other, stoking fear about immigration and asylum, and normalising contempt for basic standards in public life, with real consequences for minorities, refugees, and anyone who has already been treated as expendable by our politics."

I can't remember who it was, but someone mentioned Andy Burnham 'returning to the wilderness'... Mate, there are 3 million people there (a decent chunk of whom are Labour voters!)

Bloodborne
The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild
Red Dead Redemption II
Dishonored
Dark Souls
Balatro
Stardew Valley
Disco Elysium
Inscryption

Dishonored 2 and TotK perhaps even better than the first ones imo!

Its also entirely possible that the current First Minister Eluned Morgan fails to be reelected.

I would love to be a fly on the wall for her chats with Starmer atm, surely she will be asking for some major concessions on big ticket items (like HS2 consequentials, to pick one example at random!)

My big brain idea for Farage if he wants it - set a deadline for any former Tories to defect, then a total ban on new Tory joiners after that date. Should focus some minds.

This is the first time I have ever seen a letter on 'Senedd Labour Party' headed paper, and honestly its really welcome to see them organising like this (even if it is probably too late in the day to save them in the May elections).

Also very funny that someone thought it would be a good idea to invite her on a podcast called 'political thinking'.

No thoughts, just vibes.

Our response to the proposed asylum reforms - Welsh Refugee Council In Wales, our Nation of Sanctuary vision starts from a simple truth: people begin rebuilding their lives the moment they feel safe.

When someone is recognised as a refugee but only offered a short-term status, what follows isn’t safety: it’s limbo.

Read our full statement to hear why the UK Government's proposals will lead to insecurity without solving any of the real issues ⬇️

Tl;dr - if Labour want to combat racism, they should say racism is wrong, over and over, and act on that belief (e.g. by leaving certain social media sites owned by racists). That would do more to promote anti-racist norms, and protect the interests of Britain's minorities than immigration controls.

The less obviously meaty name could represent an olive branch to work with the Greens in future? 500% taxes on butchers?

Local Government and Housing Committee - 05/11/2025 The Senedd is the democratically elected body that represents the interests of Wales and its people, makes laws for Wales, agrees Welsh taxes and holds the Welsh Government to account.

Another great LGH Committee meeting this morning. Lee Waters continuing to ask the key question: why is Welsh Government so reluctant to mandate local authorities to adopt good practice?

So frustrating to see great initiatives repeatedly shelved and forgotten!

Dick Cheney won’t see your jokes, but your friends who orchestrated a destructive and illegal war based on lies and also shot a guy in the face will.

There is something magnificent about Nigel Farage, who has lost two of the five MPs he was elected with *last year*, explaining that HR departments don't matter.

Great podcast, thanks! Fascinating to hear more about the behind-the-scenes machinations that led to the system we have ended up with.

Never a better time for Welsh podcasting!

I remember visiting Shree Geeta Bhawan Mandir as a tiny kid in first school, at least 25 years ago, and it honestly made such an impression on me as an amazing place, growing up in a very white (at the time) Birmingham commuter village!

Today we release the 2024 findings for the Dying Homeless Project. It’s something I work on year round with an amazing team.

This year we saw a 9% increase but so much more than nos. These are human stories that never be forgotten πŸ’”

Thanks for your great work on this poll and other recent polls! Does your model have projections for the seats won in each of the 16 constituencies so we can get an idea of the competition for the last couple of seats in each area?

Not sure I agree. I think there were a lot of people around in 2019 explaining just how poorly suited Johnson was for government, and it seemed very likely that he would make many unforced errors over the subsequent five years with the potential to bring down his own administration.

How did we let Jimmy Savile get away with it? Perhaps we’ll never really understand. Now, over to Windsor Castle where police arrested four people for protesting a state visit by a self-confessed abuser and possible paedophile

Interesting, the @cavendishcymru.bsky.social model projects Plaid and RefUK as neck and neck on 36 seats each based on these figures.

Clearly a tiny shift in any direction could wildly swing the overall balance of seats!
