It seems I have become an old man following today's postal delivery.

And yes, the two you mentioned look good.
We hardly ever go to the cinema now. Just too expensive... and with the half decent Dolby Atmos set up I've got, them it makes home viewing much better. Its rare that there's a film that I *need* to see on release.
I shall wait for its release on DVD because it'll be cheaper and I won't have to be surrounded by pesky Morris dancers ๐๐๐
exactly the same here. I suspect its not just us.
Home made meat free lasagne tonight. With a baked potato, green veg.
I was going to make some garlic bread, but to be honest, CBA.
I'm lazy.... I just let them all build up and then file once or twice a year ๐
with a backprint of #hotmorrisaction
you and me both.
I mean we could have #pebworthasfuck but we'd have to get the right colour text to go with the hankies ๐
"progasfuck" you mean?
do we need to ask Polly about "pebworthasfuck" or "morrisasfuck" hoodies?
Every time I listen to "The Other Half Of The Sky" I feel so many different things. Its a transcendent experience for me.
Today my heart (and ears) belong to those pesky Swedish prog-pixies Moon Safari. They are (as am I) prog as fuck. #musicsky #progasfuck #uberprog #prog
The Last Battle is in my top 2 Narnia books (the other is The Magician's Nephew). Its so different tonally to the others and the ending is sublime.
The Silver Chair is the first one I read...
Neal Morse has form in doing excellent covers. Shame really as I find him irritating and the NMB drummer even more so. Neal's work with Spock's Beard was fantastic, he was OK with Transatlantic, but his other work I find too meh (and too Jesus-y).
We now have 14 jars of "paw made" ruby red grapefruit marmalade. Cost per jar (excluding electricity) is 42p.
For comparison, Tiptree is ยฃ2.79 and M&S is ยฃ2.25 (both smaller jars). Lidl orange marmalade is 99p.
you'll need the receipt for when you return it.
Great night though. Shame that, seeing as I'm blond, I'll never remember all the dances ๐
Fantastic earworm btw. Treat yourself and get the whole of English Settlement on. Hell, just play all the XTC and have done with it.
Incoming this evening.
#hotmorrisaction in Bretforton "Starring The Delicious Talents Of" @pebworthmorris.bsky.social
which may or may not be a clue to today's shirt.
Oh yes. Absolutely.
I have just been reminded of what an absolute banger Pandora's Box by Procol Harum is. And Everyday Hurts by Sad Cafรฉ.
Nice cup of tea and Rosalie Cunningham on the stereogram.
I don't thonk that's their point any more. Its still songs... just disposable... it has developed an audience and the entries now play to that audience with a few outliers. It has become formulaic and too knowing/self referential. I think the misnomer is the word "contest".
I find there's usually a handful of songs that I quite like.... but there's a lot of recycled lowest common denominator "this is what we always submit to Eurovision" stuff. The "contest" bit is atrocious, but as a TV spectacle, its good easy going stuff. It understands its audience perfectly.
Indeed. For me its a shame that we've gone down this novelty route. The video and lyrics are just grating.
Ahhhh universal balance is restored.... given my assessment. ๐
UK Eurovision entry. Could have been a great dark retro synthwave track. Instead its a comedy/novelty song tgat's as funny as an orphanage burning down.
I've done farts that sound better.
A mess of contradictions. Average in most respects. The picture in my attic is not dissimilar to what I look like in real life.
Its my favourite ELO album.
indiscrimate body part.
