In all my years Iβve never considered boozy milkshakes. This will be rectified.

No one said anything - so this is me now, I guess.
Perfect.

Well, Iβve run out of body parts for my experiments, so I guess Iβll call it a night.

This has me tittering. The referenced verse being about inner peace and calm is not helping things.
Your words give credence to a scene in The Witcher (tv series) where an owl attacks and kills a man. I kinda scoffed at it, but now that you say talons and arteries, it does bring it into reality.
Side note: The owl was actually a transformed witch - I had no problem believing that.
Good morning.

I reckon that the people on X need to hear The Green Partyβs message more than anyone else.
One time, I disabled the nsfw filter cos youβre all pretty, and, well, fomo. The next day, on the bus home, I searched for βscentβ and unwittingly presented the lady next to me an image of a guy sniffing a jockstrap which was attached to another guyβs crotch. π«£
My eldest has started drinking water and then audibly burping in my face.
Iβve told him that itβs impolite, but he just meows happily and walks away.
Itβs totally understandable - the world has lost its collective mind. Remember to switch off from time to time, itβs ok to pretend everything is fine for a while, to protect yourself.
For what itβs worth, I enjoy your posts, and look forward to them. β₯οΈ
2/2 The dry down has a Louis Vuitton OmbrΓ© Nomade vibe to it, but no oud, less growl, more a snuggly hug from a strong but gentle, leather gloved gardener, whoβs been knee deep in flowers and greenery all day. Perhaps one for next autumn or a balmy summerβs eve.
I have a sample of Tom Fordβs OmbrΓ© Leather. I was dubious, I donβt like leather generally. BUT, having said that, itβs soft, like suede, and the sweet floral heart gives it a comforting vibe that has me repeatedly sniffing. I donβt like florals, so this balance has me pleasantly surprised. 1/2
The scent world isnβt just about fine fragrance, and honestly, who knew about half of these things? Well, I do, now. Intriguing read:
The bottle Iβm pouring is Vanille Fleur de CafΓ© with notes of Coffee Blossom, jasmine, and uses a vanilla tincture that has been aged for 2 years. This is a limited release production due to the time it takes to make the tincture, but Iβm pretty sure itβs going to end up being your favorite vanilla.
If I cooked like I (try to) make perfume:
Stewed rhubarb with Demerara sugar - lovely.
Chunky crumble & added oats - perfect balance.
Madagascan vanilla custard & extra cream - divine.
Crushed green twigs from the garden & a sprinkling of iron-filings - so whimsical. ππ»ββοΈ
Why does this taste so bad?
Love this. Imma go wake my cat up now - mandatory cuddles time. πββ¬
This is a line of work I could really get behind. I imagine itβs not just limited to theme parks.
These days Iβm certain it was mostly Ethyl Maltol and a smattering of fruit oils. What I canβt figure out is whether the damp smell was geosmin, piped in on purpose, or just a consequence of having a warmish water ride in an enclosed space.
Fantastic. Any chance we can see a colour version? I love how the vibrant reds fade to dustier tones.
The one thing that has stuck with me from my one and only trip to Chessington World of Adventures, about 25 years ago, are the scents from Professor Burpβs Bubbleworks. I hope they had fun making them, and I hope you have fun in Florida!
Love this. Who is the model with such angles?
Cupping a candle in her hands, a woman in pale blue robes stands on a rock strewn hill in an autumnal wooded scene. Her cheeks are flush in the glow of the flame. White cloth wraps her head, constraining red hair. The wrap drapes down her side falling with a shawl-like fringe. A Douglas fir rises behind her, an evergreen amid bare skeletal trees with barely any leaves. Golden leaves carpet the forest floor. Two white doves perch on the ground nearby.

Whenever itβs been a tough year, Iβve found a way to portray that quietly in my annual holiday card. 1/2
A cartoon depicting an anthropomorphised loaf of bread that has a worried expression on its face and is wringing its hands.
One time my Alexa shopping list (which I donβt use) contained the item βExistential Breadβ.
Thereβs something wonderfully daft about that.

Urgh. I forgot how utterly bleak and harrowing the season finale of Doctor Who series 10 was. Inescapable post industrial dystopia. I rarely watch it because it messes me up, but the music just brought it screaming back. ππ
Doctor Who Series 10 soundtrack finally released β eight years after the show aired. βA Glimpse of Freedomβ unfolds into a layered thematic reprise, merging the 12th Doctorβs theme (A Good Man?) with echoes of Bill Pottsβ suite. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ I Love Murray Goldβs work.
