It’s a good point. I think you have to like yourself enough to use your voice. The ones I read where the voice is muddy, or put on… feels like the author is trying to be someone other than themself, maybe.

My book’s act III wasn’t delivering and I went back to restructure and it was like one character put up their hand to raise the stakes. Changed the whole game. It’s amazing how quickly they live and breathe on their own! #WritingCommunity

Sure - but I'm just thinking about the benefit of feedback on things like, do you have the right content in your posts? Do your images work from a design standpoint? Heck, I saw so many font contrast issues that made certain pitches unreadable for anyone with visual impairments.

I feel like we need a little pregame #questpit where authors share pitches for feedback on the design/effectiveness. I hate the idea that someone's knowledge of marketing could outcompete incredible concepts/writing. #PracticePit anyone? #WritingCommunity #AmQuerying
