IMO it's the exact same thing as ME: Andromeda.
Both of them are good games, in their own right, you just have to approach them as if they're their own standalones set in the same universe.
Veilguard was REALLY fun. The gameplay and mechanics are super cool. Dialogue was a bit meh. But good game!
