This woman, US citizen living in Skokie, was detained at Ohare yesterday, taken to Broadview, then transferred to a detention facility in Wisconsin, now released. We know all this not because of DHS, who repeatedly denied that they even had her, but because her phone was pinging in those locations.

Trump is posting fantasies about "unlimited supply" while Raytheon can barely promise to "eventually" reach 1,000 Tomahawks a year and the Pentagon only budgeted 57 for 2026. The industrial base is so hollowed out they're threatening contractors with punishment if they don't ramp up, even though the system physically can't produce at wartime tempo. America just showed the world that one regional confrontation with Iran drained decades of planning assumptions.

There isn’t enough anywhere, from what I’ve seen. Which is appalling, but given the general housing crisis, it’s not shocking we can’t get our collective shit together across the country.
They need to do something about the bullshit reffing. If it was calls in our favour, there would be international outrage and our medals would be called into question.
If there was ever any doubt, I am incredibly proud of our Olympic athletes.
