That wasn’t the Israeli response. The Israeli response was “we not aware of any of our operations in the area.” (Eg we weren’t there). You’re attributing social media comments to the IDF. From BBC:

Maybe it’s me, but irrespective of his statement, I always thought the Rubio comment was ridiculous. There’s no way Israel would have moved without Trump’s blessing. They didn’t want to cease the 12 day war because they hadn’t finished their target list of launchers and had full air supremacy.
