My favorite pieces from 2024

Fanart of Inej Ghafa from Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. Specifically from this scene: “The sun was out for once, and Inej had turned her face to it. Her eyes were shut, her oil-black lashes fanned over her checks. The harbor wind had lifted her dark hair, and for a moment Kaz was a boy again, sure that there was magic in this world.” In this illustration she’s sitting on the window, eyes closed, calmed, enjoying the morning light. She’s wearing dark, tight and comfy clothe and her knives (leg and her side). This from Kaz’s perspective so we can see the desk with a map of Ketterdam and money, and kaz’s left gloved hand holding his cane. The room is warm and dark brown, yellow light on the wall, red curtain and blue flowers, everything surrounding the windows where Inej is sited. It’s not very detailed but through the window we can see the see, the sea and a little bit of Ketterdam. And a couple of crowd flying of course.
