I feel like I've seen a lot of illustrators posting book covers for sale recently - a lot of the Valdemar books (tempting), my specific version of Pierce's Tortall books - but those are all rather old, so that might be a contract thing.
but I will be honest, the reason I bought the book was because I scoured the illustrator's store to see if I could just get a print of the cover first, and the answer was no.
