Another pair of goblins rebased! I repainted the faces to bring them up to date with my latest. The eyes were really hard on the right one, they're really tiny! Also adjusted the robes to my latest scheme.

I've started rebasing some of my old goblins that were on rounds and used the occasion to upgrade the paintjob a bit. There is a certain appeal to those dead eyes from 2023, but I like the new one much more.

Here's me painting a goblin! I had to edit this down from 4+ hrs, so I cut out a lot. By the time the video starts, I had brush-primed it and added some wash (agrax) in the darkest places.

It's the Mordheim Clocktower again! I lost a lot of detail in the printed backdrop (2nd image) as it had to be 4cm wide, so this is the digital background.

Thank you! I like to mix multiple intermediary colors for transitions and paint really thin lines or stipples. If needed, i glaze at the end, but not always

The #Mordheim Clock Tower! This is my entry for the Critter Challenge and Squidmar Open.

Background is digitally painted in Krita and printed on cardboard. I used some of my unfinished Mordheim buildings as reference. The model is my sculpt from last year.

I am a very slow painter. I've always wished I could improve my timing but I've always focused on quality primarily. Recently I've been impressed by how much Roman Lappat can paint in a short time and while I can't do what he does, I would like to get faster.

I really like painting faces and think I have improved a bit this year. After sculpting my own goblin with bigger eyes (for painting), I realized I could sculpt bigger eyes on other models, which I did on the orcs here.

Here's a timelapse of my latest painting. I removed the background of the photo digitally and painted behind the model. I changed the photograph toward the end as I repainted the axe and other things. Painted in Krita.

2025 has been one of the worst years for me on a personal level, but I also managed to achieve some things I am very proud of: sculpting my first miniature, blending more landscape painting with my miniatures, creating the artwork for my band's new single and releasing my first youtube video.
