So to anyone who decided to read my thread thank you, and if you play xiv let's be friends 🥺

To me the game feels the same as it did when I first started (gameplay wise not player count) and I've been trying to make friends with people who are playing right now, but I'm terrible at it.

I feel like I don't have much right to say much as to the games declining state because I only came in just at the end of Shadowbringers.

I only know a fraction of the games lifetime and understand that a lot of xivs player base has been at this for a long time and have most likely burnt out.

I get that the game is in a declining state and Dawntrail was a huge factor in it.. but the constant shitting on the game from a variety of outlets and people is incredibly discouraging.

I love xiv when it's at its best and it honestly feels isolating to be in between all of this.

Been feeling genuine loneliness in xiv.

Most of the people I played with when I first started don't play anymore/don't play as much.

The people I currently play with only log on occasionally, for a short amount of time, or just hardly log in at all.

I low key miss this event! The Big Rubber Chocobo was my favorite ❤️
