That too! And you barely even see the wings. It should have been a side silhouette or slightly raised design. I am guessing some of that was just the speed at which it had to be produced and the TV budget (even as high as it was)
I had no memory of the Battlestar Pegasus's Viper helmet looking so...goofy! It looks like they're wearing a hood ornament! And that's bound to get caught in the cowling of the Viper at some point. The #BattlestarGalactica 's helmet looks far better!
Also the variable with of each letter in this text makes my graphic design brain hurt.
