Next on my chronological Zelda Playthrough is Four Swords!

I will be playing the definitive edition on my 3DS, since just like when the game came out in 2002, I do not have the friends necessary to play this with other people.

The biggest weakness in this game: Kinstones. Most of them just give you money and you barely need money in this game. Also the game explains what a Kinstone is every time you pick one up, which happens ~100 times. That’s already annoying, but it happens even if you get one in the middle of combat.

To me, this is a B tier Zelda. Love the 16 bit aesthetic, the pacing is good, I like the music, and it didn’t feel like a ton of filler was put in to pad out run time. I love the dungeons. They made 6 dungeons and all of them are well designed, stuck to the theme, and utilized all your items well.
