It seems the US government doesn't understand what sovereignty means. Venezuela is an example; they likely aim to attack other Caribbean, Central, and South American countries. We can guess who’s next. Someone must stop the White House's 🤡 actions. Solidarity with the Venezuelan people.
I'm frankly puzzled by the cover photo. If I'm not mistaken, those look like Andean textiles from the central-southern Andes. But of course, what would they be doing on the cover of a book about the economies of Roman Iberia? It has to be a mistake—probably some editing or printing slip-up.
A reminder that much work remains. It is essential to move beyond discussions of postcolonial and decolonial frameworks, as these often serve merely as euphemisms. The actual demands of oppressed peoples are fundamentally anticolonial. Coloniality has not ceased; it persists.
