Tomorrow (9:30 CET / 8.30 UK), the Grand Chamber will hand down its judgment in Tsaava + Others v. #Georgia, a case concerning the brutal dispersal of a protest in Tbilisi on Gavrilov's Night.
This case was co-litigated by @GYLA_CSO + EHRAC.
We will be responding to the judgment.
🔴 On 20 June 2019, police opened fire, without warning, on a large crowd in Tbilisi, Georgia.
🔴 Tear gas, water cannon and 800 rubber bullets were discharged, indiscriminately.
🔴 240 people were hurt, some seriously.
Tomorrow, the Grand Chamber will deliver its judgment.
