I mean Ryuji did lose both of his legs at a very young age, and at different times I should add. He's also been shot, stabbed, and injected with serums which cause his body to physically mutate and shift for hours at a time.

He's... i suppose he's healed? minus the legs, he has prosthetics now.

EACH OF THESE ALSO HAVE THEIR OWN PLOTS AND STORIES THAT I WRITE AROUND RYUJI. THEY AREN'T JUST OH FUNNEE DESIGN HAHA no. its real. I put so much effort into these things it's not even funny.
