He literally can down the path towards us so we stood still made sure he had seen us and watched him until it was safe to walk back down the way we came. Whilst we watched I had bear spray in one hand and my phone in the other. There were four of us and he was more interested in his supper, a marmot

Woke up to lots more snow yesterday at camp on Ben Oss so we walked back out rather than push on for another two Munros. Visibility poor & snowed all day, tough going & waist deep in places. 10 years ago today - taking Sergeant Warren and some young squaddies from Weeton Barracks through the flood waters to help a flooded nursing home in Croston - it was chest high in places.
Hoping soβ¦ the waiting part is hard! Hopefully here for May π
