(namely, with Furry being such a queer space, I became friends with some trans folks and that prompted me to actually take a deep look at the whole gender thing. Would my egg have still cracked outside of Furry? Possibly. But it would've taken a lot longer.)
9 years ago today I made my fursona as an act of self care. That has legitimately been one of the best decisions of my life. Furry has helped me find new friends, new performance opportunities, new hobbies, but most importantly: I found myself.
