Good one. DS9 is my favourite Trek so those parts of this episode, I loved. The rest of the episode was weaker which is a down considering the rest. But Cirroc, best return to Trek in a long time. Wish we had a Jake series being made. Him as a writer/journo post-Picard era, perhaps. Amazing actor.

I think they fully committed to it after Covid. They saw how quickly the environment started correcting itself just when people stayed home. Imagine how quick it will correct when they only need the industry to support a few million. Explains why Gates and all suddenly dropped climate action.

Been saying this for years now. Sounds loony when you write it or say it but it’s 100% the game plan. Natural causes and creeping authoritarianism, followed by outright extermination. They want to be the only ones left, with all the resources and land and no oiks to share it with.
